Support Our Troops Letters
1LT Michael Lemming and his Team
Cindy and Bruce,
I know this is late, but I wanted to thank you for the package of Cin Chili that we received from you in September. My name is 1LT Mike Lemming, and I am from Houston. I went to Strake Jesuit, and then on to play football for West Point. I'm not sure if my dad, Jim, went to your store or called and ordered for us or if you sent it on behalf of him. Either way, I wanted to say thank you.
Currently I am a Field Artillery Platoon leader, deployed with my guys to East Paktika Province, Afghanistan. We are part of the 4th BCT 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division. I had about 25 packages of chili and I was waiting for a good day to have a pot of chili for all of my guys. I had to wait until it started getting colder and we had enough Fritos for Frito pie! Enclosed are some pictures of myself and my guys enjoying your chili! It was delicious. Thank you again and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Respectfully,
1LT Michael Lemming

Hello Bruce and Cindy,
Here is a picture of me along the Euphrates River in Iraq getting ready to eat some Cin Chili. Just a few months ago, we were not allowed to come to this area without our full gear because of snipers. Thank goodness things have calmed down over here.
Thank you for your support!

Hello Cindy,
Wanted to let you know that your hot sauce is so hot that I keep a medic nearby to cool down my tastebuds! Everyone in my platoon thanks you for the Chili. New Chili fan!

345th Infantry, from Oklahoma
Hey Cindy,
On behalf of all of the 345th Infantry stationed here in lovely IRAQ, we thank you for your wonderful chili. But we need more!! (do you think green onions would travel in the mail?) Thank you.
New Cin Chili fans include Sgt Mike Wood, SSgt Chad Ward, Spc Brian Warner, Spc Ignatio Lopez and many others. This group I mention are from different parts of Oklahoma in hopes of spreading the word. We are all at the same APO address, just different platoons and shifts. Anyway, we are enjoying the diversion from our "Job" as Cin Chili spokesmen.
Yours truly,
Sgt Richard T Kyker |

345 MPs in Kuwait
Hey Cindy,
I think that camel stole my Cin Chili and I plan on getting it back. We did some training in Kuwait and your Chili kept me fired up! You're "Hell's Passion" hot sauce made me carry an extra canteen of water though.
Thanks,
Richard Kyker |
