The newest winner for THE CIN CHILI GIRL REALLY GETS AROUND contest is Gene Dekerlegand.  He took his wife Carolyn all over Alaska and  had her show the girl all sorts of interesting locations up there.  Here is a picture of Gene and a few of the places he took pictures of Carolyn and the girl.

We appreciate all the pictures everyone has sent in.  Keep sending them and we’ll keep posting them.  We will have another winner at the end of July, so take the Cin Chili girl around and show us what a fun time you’ve shown her.

It’s called “The Cin Chili Girl Really Gets Around!”

Take a picture of yourself holding a Cin Chili package or bottle of hot sauce.  Email it to us and we’ll enter it in our contest “The Cin Chili Girl Really Gets Around!”  Email us the picture to info@cinchili.com along with your name, mailing address and location of where the picture was taken.  The end of every month we will have a drawing and pick a winner from all of the pictures sent to us.  We will post the winner’s picture on our blog and send the winner a Sherry’s sizzling combo ( 1 each of all 10 of our products…$62.55 value) for free!  Every picture we receive will be posted on our blog, so you can track where the Cin Chili girl has been traveling.  Every picture you send, has to have you and the Cin Chili Girl in it somewhere.  So carry around a package of Cin Chili and Hot Sauce everywhere you go and show the Cin Chili Girl a good time.

The next drawing will be July 31st, so get your pictures sent in now.  Suggestions for sites would be famous places, famous people, famous things.  Places you visit on vacation and trips you take for business.  The more places you take our Girl, the better time she’s gonna have.  Treat her right though. Cindy will be approving all pictures to make sure The Girl is upholding her image.

I’m finally getting around to posting the pictures that the Calverts sent us after they received the first place prize for May.  They were very excited and so were we.

Our next drawing will be tomorrow June 30, 2011.

So keep sending in those photos.  We’ll keep posting them and having our monthly drawing.

May 2nd of this year Cindy and I went on a trip through Florida to visit the stores that sell Cin Chili and to visit our good  friends Ray and Susan from Ol Ray’s Sauces.  Cindy & I left early on Monday morning and drove straight through to Destin, Florida. It was about a 10 hour trip with stops along the way.  I-10 is usually a boring trip but this time we sailed right along and arrived just in time to get a room for the night.  The next day we visited Jimmy Maturo in Niceville, FL.  He introduced us to the manager of Food Depot who filled up one of our racks in his store with Cin Chili dry seasoning all of our hot sauces and Texas Firecrackers, that we were introducing to this region. Here are some pictures of Jimmy doing a demo at Food Depot.

That evening we did a cooking show at Kitchenique in Destin, FL.  a good time was had by all.  these are a few pictures from the event:

Kitchenique is a great place to learn about cooking and finding the right cooking tools.  Vickie has cooking classes at least three times a week.  Check out their web site to see when the next class is. www.kitchenique.com .  It’s also the only place in Destin, Florida you can buy all of our wonderful Cin Chili seasoning and hot sauces.

The next day we went to Modica Market in Santa Rosa Beach, Fl.  There we did a Cin Chili sampling for the afternoon.  If you’re looking for great food at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.  The pastries are to die for and the deli is the best in the area.  Before we left the area we stopped  and walked along the beautiful white sand beaches of Northern Florida.  They have done a wonderful clean-up job from the oil spill.  These are a few stops the girl had us do:

After the Northern shores of Florida, Cindy and I headed East to St. Augustine, to hook up with our good friends Ol’ Ray and Susan.  We were going to be doing a show at AA Bottled Gas in Jacksonville, Florida the following Saturday and Sunday.  AA Bottled Gas is a natural gas facility that also sells all brands of hot sauces, BBQ sauce, Salsa, seasonings, rubs and chili.  they are also a distributor for the Big Green Egg and some really nifty BBQ pits.  they just opened a section in their store for kitchen items, so this is a place to stop for all your indoor and outdoor cooking needs.  There pits cooking for two days straight out front of their store under a big top tent.

We had a wonderful time in Florida.  Meet some great people and introduced our Cin Chili products to new markets.  We even stopped in at Firehouse Subs headquarters and left them samples of our hot sauce and Cin Chili.  If you’ve never eaten at Firehouse Subs you don’t know what you’re missing.  Hopefully they’ll add our Texas hot sauces to their Texas stores.  You need to support local vendors, in the regions you operate.   If you ask for Spice O’ Life jalapeno hot sauce, it will come to Firehouse Subs.
